This is an all-inclusive early learning curriculum for LKG students (ages 4–6).
This ELC kit is for the theme: A Healthy Mind. This theme helps children understand their mind with a focus on emotions and mental health. Children learn to identify and name feelings, empathise with others, and express emotions in healthy ways. The major project invites children to set up a feelings centre in the classroom with emotions games and calming activities to support their classmates through the year. This supports well-being and quality learning in the classroom.
What’s included
- Storybook — How Do I Feel? A long poem where each verse explores a different emotion and a colour linked to it, with simple ideas for what to do when you feel that way. This is the anchor text for read-alouds and talk.
- Lesson Plans — 4 weeks × 5 days. Daily routine: Circle Time, Story Time, Language, Maths, EVS, Free Play and Wrap-Up. Each part has learning outcomes, material needed and step-by-step instructions.
- Six sets of Flashcards, Resource Sheets you can project or print, and a Workbook with students' practice pages.
Aligned to LKG (Foundational Stage) early learning outcomes for language development, phonics and reading, early writing, early numeracy, social-emotional-ethical development, fine- and gross-motor skills, cognitive-sensory development, and EVS.
