What is this course about?
This course helps teachers understand the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for the Foundational Stage (ages 3–8). The NCF FS moves away from a narrow focus on academics and promotes the holistic development of every child. In this course, you’ll learn about the different domains of development, how to create different types of learning experiences for the children, how to incorporate play in the classroom, how to create a supportive and inclusive classroom and what assessment looks like in an NCF-aligned classroom.
Through clear explanations and real classroom strategies, the course shows how to organise learning content, create a positive environment and assess children meaningfully using the Holistic Progress Card.
